How to connect two laptops together
A USB transfer cable can be used to link two laptops. This product has Type-A USB ports on both ends and an electrical circuit in the middle.
It is crucial that you have the appropriate technology. Never connect two Type-A USB ports directly to each other without an intermediary electrical device. A Type-A connector and a Type-B connector are frequently found on opposite ends of a universal USB cable. This is so that Type-B ports can accept electricity that originates from Type-A ports.
Two Type-A ports connected together will attempt to power each other, which could harm the devices of which they are a part.
USB Transfer Cables are designed with an electrical circuit in the center that serves as a buffer and a bridge to fix this issue.
The following are the general guidelines for using a USB transfer cable:
Activate the two laptops. Ensure that each operating system is functioning properly.
On laptop 1, connect the USB transfer cable. Hold off until Laptop 1 detects the cable.
Connect Laptop 2 to the USB transfer cable's other end. Watch for the cable to be detected by Laptop 2.
If Laptop 1 is running Windows 8, click the Windows Start button in the taskbar at the bottom left of the screen.
Locate and click the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of your screen. The search bar will then be shown.
In the search box, enter "windows simple transfer" and then hit Return.
The Windows Easy Transfer window's instructions should be followed.
Hold off until the transfer is finished.
